60TH ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION
Calling all KCSB Alumni!
KCSB-FM is hosting a 60th Anniversary Celebration and Reunion during UCSB’s All Gaucho Reunion Weekend (April 28th-May 1, 2022)
We’ll be gathering in Storke Plaza and around KCSB’s studios in the Storke Student Media Building for a day of activities, food, entertainment, and — of course — music!!
Save the date and join us on Saturday, April 30th, between 2-8pm.
Check-in will begin at 2pm. That afternoon, there will be a number of activities, such as:
Station Tours
An Oral-History Station
Creation of a Time Capsule, and more!
We’re also inviting volunteers to participate in a “DJ per Decade,” alumni on-air programming from our FM control room under Storke Tower, starting at 2pm.. To volunteer for this special broadcast, email pd@kcsb.org and asst.pd@kcsb.org
KCSB will provide refreshments that afternoon, and the day’s events will conclude with a catered meal starting at 6pm, where there’ll be speakers, live music, and special guest honorees. Reserve dinner on our website
