Independent journalist Zoie Matthew has been chronicling for months the struggle by(mostly)homeless single mothers with children to gain access to nearly 200 houses in the El Sereno area of Los Angeles. The houses have been left vacant since an aborted plan by Caltrans to extend the 710 Freeway. Harry Lawton discusses with the journalist a way to grant the activists access to homes they need.
