Join the Radio!!! RSVP for KCSB-FM’s Fall 2021 Orientation!!!
We will be hosting our first in-person orientation in over 18 months on Monday, October 4 at 6 PM in Storke Plaza (in the middle of UCSB’s campus between Storke Tower and UCEN). The orientation will consist of an informational session on the various ways that you can get involved with KCSB, as well as opportunities to chat with representatives from each of KCSB’s departments.
What Departments Does KCSB Have?
KJUC/Programming: Do you want to be a radio DJ with your own radio show? Attend the orientation and sign up for KJUC, KCSB’s DJ training program. During the 8 week curriculum you’ll learn essential DJ skills and have the chance to practice producing radio content in both our KJUC Studio, and remotely on a computer. After completing the program, you’ll have the opportunity to submit a demo to KCSB’s programming department to be considered for a weekly time slot on our FM station! To get involved, email gm.kjuc@kcsb.org and/or pd.kjuc@kcsb.org.
