City Council Votes to Bring Hundreds of New Housing Units to Downtown Santa Barbara

The site of a shopping mall in downtown Santa Barbara could transform into a large residential community. The City Council has voted to bulldoze Paseo Nuevo to make room for hundreds of housing units.
