On Tuesday, May 18th, KCSB News presented “A Year in COVID: Medical Racism, Care Disparities, & Health Misinformation” – a critical discussion of how racial health inequity prevents marginalized communities from accessing quality care. KCSB’s Ashley Rusch and Aubrey Valerio joined an array of panelists to discuss the dangers of health misinformation during times of crisis and the role of communication in medical mistrust.
